Yes, and arguably more than before. Competition math is not training in applying a formula, which is the part AI made cheap. It is training in finding an approach when no formula fits, and in knowing an argument is airtight before anyone confirms it — the judgment that separates a correct solution from a convincing wrong one. Contests are also written on paper under time pressure with no AI, so the skill has to live in the student. Every problem here shows the full reasoning, not just the answer, for that reason.

AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12 registration all go through your school. Ask your math teacher or gifted coordinator; if your school doesn't offer it, contact the MAA directly (maa.org) about nearby test centers.
AMC 8 is open to grade 8 and below (most engaged students start in grades 5–7) and assumes comfort with pre-algebra. AMC 10 is open to grade 10 and below, and AMC 12 to grade 12 and below; both run 25 questions in 75 minutes.
