How the practice works

A worked solution on every question
Not just the letter. Each answer opens into the full reasoning, so a wrong answer teaches you something instead of just costing a point.
Full-length mocks under the real clock
Each mock is drawn at random from a much larger pool, so you can sit it again and again and meet new questions each time.
You see which units are weak
Accuracy is tracked per content domain, and every question you miss lands in a wrong-answer notebook you can work through later.

PSAT/NMSQT Math — Frequently asked questions

Are these real PSAT/NMSQT Math exam questions?
No. Every question is independently authored by Texas CBE™ in the SAT/PSAT style, aligned to the College Board's published content domains for the digital SAT Suite. We do not reproduce released or secure College Board questions. Our practice is a companion to the official materials, not a substitute.
Is there a free PSAT/NMSQT Math practice test?
Yes — a free sample drawn across every unit, with no payment and no signup, and every question shows a full worked solution.
How is the free-response (FRQ) practice scored?
You score it yourself. Work each prompt, then reveal a complete model answer and a point-by-point scoring checklist to grade against. We do not grade free-response — that keeps every bit of feedback accurate and instant.
What does the mock exam cover?
The mock mirrors Section I of the real exam: 40 multiple-choice questions in 70 minutes, drawn at random from a much larger pool, so you can re-take it as often as you like.
Is this affiliated with the College Board?
No. Texas CBE™ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board. SAT/PSAT and Advanced Placement® are registered trademarks of the College Board.

Other SAT/PSAT courses we cover

Independent practice. Texas CBE™ is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board or the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. SAT®, PSAT 10® and PSAT 8/9® are registered trademarks of the College Board. PSAT/NMSQT® is a registered trademark of the College Board and the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, jointly, and is cited in full because the shortened form is not the registered mark. National Merit® is a registered trademark of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Those names are used here only to say which exam this practice is written for.

Every question is written in-house and modelled on the published format and content domains of the digital SAT Suite — it is not past exam material. Our practice covers the Math section only; we do not offer Reading and Writing. National Merit selection uses an index that weights Reading and Writing more heavily than Math, so no practice here can determine that outcome. Test dates, scoring and eligibility are set by the College Board and may change — always confirm current details with them or your school counselor.
