AMC 8, AMC 10, and AMC 12 registration all go through your school. Ask your math teacher or gifted coordinator; if your school doesn't offer it, contact the MAA directly (maa.org) about nearby test centers.
AMC 8 is open to grade 8 and below (most engaged students start in grades 5–7) and assumes comfort with pre-algebra. AMC 10 is open to grade 10 and below, and AMC 12 to grade 12 and below; both run 25 questions in 75 minutes.
